Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #161692

Supervised by Marcus Moore, LMFT #50183

Hillary Spolini is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with clients across the lifespan, with a specialization in children and adolescents. Hillary brings warmth, creativity, and genuine care to her work, believing deeply in the resilience of every person she serves.

Hillary's clinical experience includes providing individual therapy, group therapy, and family consultation to children and adolescents presenting with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral concerns, and adjustment difficulties. She has provided school-based counseling and has designed and facilitated therapeutic groups on topics including social skills, anger management, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma recovery. Hillary has a particular passion for working with foster youth, having volunteered extensively with foster teen camps in Sonoma County, where she served as a behavior specialist and counselor supporting some of the community's most vulnerable young people.

Hillary draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including play therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. At the heart of her practice is a deeply client-centered philosophy — Hillary believes in a collaborative, egalitarian therapeutic relationship where clients are the experts of their own lives and the power dynamic between counselor and client is intentionally minimized. She has completed training in Trauma-Focused CBT and Anti-Oppression and Liberation in Trauma Therapy, reflecting her commitment to culturally humble, equity-centered care.

Hillary holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sonoma State University.
